Completed Project:
20,000 Sq. Ft. Renovations & additions to the ER department, fire alarm system, mechanical air handling systems, nurse call, critical & regular power. This project is carried out in 3 phases.
Phase 1 of 3 – Start Date: October 2010
This phase included an additional air condition and heating unit in the new emergency room facility, new nurses station and new patient rooms with the very latest in ER equipment including computers and monitoring in each patients' room.
Phase 2 of 3 – Start Date: March 2011
Remodeling of the first half of the original ER. Electrical for new rooms and nurses stations. Equipping each station with the latest technology for treating patients.
Phase 3 of 3 – End Date: July 2011
The third and final phase of the HCA Summit Hospital ER remodel is complete. The final phase included electrical for 13 new rooms, X-ray room remodel, completion of the nurses station and the completion of the emergency waiting room.
